Getting the health and fitness balance right

 

Really good to see a sensible, well written article in a free magazine recnetly. Who said you can't get
good advice for free? You can tell it was written by a qualified nutritionist who obviously pratices what
she preaches. Ever go to a weight watchers type meeting and think that the presenter should lead by example?

From the headline above you can probably get the beef of the written content. Its just nice to see it
written by a nutritionist that has spent years getting qualified.

The message is the same, moderate daily exercise allows you to eat moderately well without worrying about
counting calories (kcals) . Now if you have some calories to lose, get the weight down first,
then stabilize your lifestyle with some daily exercise and good eating habits. Always remember, fat is excess
energy storage for the body to use up.

I am currently at 13% bodyfat and from my facebook account you can see all the good cakes/buns/takeway
foods that I enjoy. The trick really is "everything in moderation".

Final thought : Despite the reflection in the mirror, Its great to be six foot above the ground.
